The National Dance Society Journal (NDSJ) is a peer reviewed, open access scholarly journal supporting and promoting dance education. The journal publishes research papers, academic articles, theoretical papers, and book reviews related to its mission and vision.

The mission of the National Dance Society (NDS) is to provide leadership in promoting quality dance experiences for students at all levels, across all ages, and for multiple dance interests ranging from social, cultural, community, and fitness/wellness reasons to challenging students to create, perform, and respond to artistic works for the stage.

The National Dance Society Journal (NDSJ) is inviting submissions for its 2023 issue focusing on Current Issues in Dance and Its Impact on/in Society. The journal welcomes contributions from young and established scholars with the aim of expanding and impacting our audience as a national organization. The journal is published in both print and online versions.

Last date of Submission: The final date for consideration is March 31, 2024. However, early submissions are encouraged, and will receive preference in the review process.
