The National Dance Society offers CAP as a service to dancers and dance educators who need independent, professional evaluation of their works. It is open to NDS and non-NDS members. Dance faculty seeking tenure/promotion may find these evaluation useful pieces in their dossier. Choreography may be submitted as research and the process of adjudication adds a level of objectivity.

Feedback

CAP offers two levels of feedback to the choreographer. The first is a basic level that supplies the choreographer with a rubric including a numeric value and comments. The second more in-depth version includes a formal evaluation letter that can be submitted to tenure/promotion committees.

Adjudicators

The adjudicators are experienced choreographers, selected from diverse geographic regions and backgrounds. They offer focused, in-depth, knowledgeable evaluations.
