Barbara McAlister

Barbara McAlister is a “ A trans-disciplinary artist, scholar, educator, and activist…”advocating for movement everywhere; she “seeks to understand, when are we (not) dancing?” A gifted scholar and talented artist, she infuses her instruction with passion and makes learning accessible to all. She is a Jacob’s Pillow Curriculum in Motion Fellow and has a global screendance presence. Following her very successful academic and dance career at Texas Women’s University, she will continue her studies at Duke University.
