Ms. Ronelle Eddings received the P-12 Master Dance Educator of the Year!
Ronelle Jock Eddings is currently a Director of Dance at Creekview High School in Carrollton, TX. She holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance Education and a Masters of Education in Secondary Education with Dance Emphasis. Ronelle has been teaching dance in public schools for over 27 years and has held the position of Fine Arts Department Manager at Creekview for the past 8 years. Her dance teaching experience includes working with preschool, after-school elementary, middle & high school, community college, university, and private studio students. She was founder and co-director of Elledanceworks Dance Company for 20 years, a local professional company created to support dance educators in professional choreography and performance experience. She has received the TDEA Dance Educator of the Year 2019, Honorary Life Membership in the Texas PTA, Larry White Award for Dance Education 2015, Texas K-12 Dance Educator of the Year 2015 and is currently the Dance Education Chair for the National Dance Society.
